Baptismal Preparation for Infants & Children under the age of 7

We are honored to be part of this special step in your child's faith journey. The Catholic Church has always taught and respected the understanding that parents and family members are the primary educators in the faith of their children. Our Baptismal preparation is designed to assist you, parents, caregivers, family members, and godparents, in raising our children in the faith.
  1. Please allow ample time to complete this planning.
  2. Expectant mothers are encouraged to contact the office before their baby is born.
  3. Parents wishing to baptize their child must be registered active members of one of the local Crow Reservation local parishes for 3 months prior to the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism.
  4. A Baptismal Preparation Class must have been attended at St. Dennis or another parish within the last 3 months. This class is usually offered monthly (see schedule below). 
  5. Please fill out and complete the Baptism Registration Form below. We need the completed form to register you and your child for the class and to confirm a Baptism date. 
  6. In addition, we need a completed Godparent/Sponsor form. One of the Godparents/Sponsors must be an active practicing Catholic. 
  7. We understand that every family is unique and that there are often special circumstances. Should you wish to discuss your child's baptismal celebration, please feel free to contact us to register for a class, or for any other questions, please contact your local parish (406-620-7500)
Infant & Child (under age 7) Baptismal Prep & Baptism Schedule:

The Saturday before the First Sunday of every month at St. Dennis Parish Hall from 10:30am-11:30am. This class is mandatory for the parents and godparents of the infant/child to be baptized. The Baptism itself can be scheduled according to the availability of the priest and the family's request.
 
Current Mass Schedule: (Baptisms may be scheduled within Mass or before/after as well as on another day.)
